The retendered CCTV Maintenance and Repair
contract commenced on 1 February 2013 for a five-year period (with
provision to extend the contract for five years to ten years in
total). The contract was formulated to enable further expansion of
the Council’s CCTV service in order to grow the facility and
its capacity so that it is able to attract additional clients and
thus further income.
To increase the formal contract value for CCTV repairs and
maintenance contract to the upper amount of £5.5 million
published in the OJEU notice to enable additional works and
services to take place.
