This scheme was hastily implemented, with no public consultation, under the temporary legislation of the pandemic. This LTN is benefiting a small minority of residents on Fentiman Road and Richborne Terrace, to the detriment of the majority of Lambeth residents, both within the Triangle and surrounding area, creating an uncomfortable social divide. With every arterial road being no through access within the Triangle, all neighbouring roads - already heavily congested - are now being impacted further by the extra Triangle traffic. There is an alarming influx of rat running vehicles on neighbouring residential streets as all traffic is shunted onto the A roads. Local residents, businesses and carers driving to the Triangle can no longer easily access amenities, places of work, friends and family across their own neighbourhood and are being forced to join the heavily congested A roads adding to further congestion, pollution and increased journey times beyond comprehension. This is counter productive to the ideal this scheme is supposed to create if you consider the negative affect on all neighbours outside of the Triangle. These road closures need to be removed immediately.
