This variation will begin on 1 April 2022, and run for 12 months until 21 March 2023, with an option to extend for up to 24 months until 31 March 2025 for a total maximum additional contract value of £291,000 and a total maximum contract value over 3 years of £2,596,000.

2.         To issue scheme approval and authorise the undertaking of statutory consultation on the proposed traffic orders to extend the existing Tulse Hill (Zone H) CPZ, with controlled hours 12.00noon- 2pm Monday to Fridays into the Rosendale Road area as illustrated in Drawing No. DES-CPZ-N-2017-2000-007 in Appendix A to this report.

 

3.         That subject to the above approval and following due regard to the product of the statutory consultation referred thereto, to agree to the scheme’s implementation under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 124 and Schedule 1 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

 

4.         To note that due consideration to the statutory consultation referred to in paragraph 2 above will be made by way of a written report to a Director or Assistant Director of Resident Services and that any valid objections received will be considered by way of a written report to a Director or Assistant Director of Resident Services prior to any decision being taken on whether to proceed with, amend or withdraw the approved scheme.

 

5.         To have regard to the Equality Impact Assessment prepared for the purposes of this report (Appendix I)

 

6.         To notify the London Borough of Southwark of this proposed CPZ extension in accordance with the requirements of Section 121B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
