Purpose:
To provide a programme of funding to support
residents most in need with food, utilities, and other essentials
in response to the increasing cost of living. The framework and
approach will include the second tranche of the Household Support
Fund (£2.7m) and the Discretionary Council Tax Energy Rebate
(£1.5m) both running from 1 April to 30 September
2022.
Decision:
1. To agree the framework for distribution of the £2.7m Q1-2 Household Support Fund as set out in paragraph 2.5
2. To agree the £1.5m summary framework for distribution of the Q1-2 Council Tax energy Rebate Discretionary Fund as set out in paragraph 2.5
