The report requests that Cabinet Members
approve a direct award to a group of providers in Lambeth to
provide the care, support and housing management services for
Coburg Crescent resource centre in an alliance contracting
arrangement. This will help safeguard the success of the alliance,
enable the alliance to coproduce the service specification and
allow time for the alliance to deliver the recurrent revenue
savings of £300k identified for 2020/21.
1. To approve the agreement of terms with Certitude London to work in collaboration with Lambeth Adults and Health, service users and their families, on a service design programme for the duration of 1 December 2019 to 31 March 2020.
2. To waive Section 8.2 of the Lambeth Contract Standing Orders to award of the contract to manage Lambeth’s Shared Lives service to Certitude London, for an initial contract value of £110,000 per annum and a maximum value of £207,000 per annum. This contract will begin on 1 June 2020, and run for 44 months until 1 February 2024, with an option to extend for up to 24 months until 1 February 2026, with a maximum total contract value of £1,173,000.
3. To await the conclusion of the service design process and associated negotiations with the providers ahead of the completion of a second contract award report which will make a recommendation regarding the appointment of providers to provide services for the Coburg Crescent Partnership.
