Decision Maker: Cabinet Member for the Voluntary Sector and Leisure

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: Yes

Is subject to call in?: Yes

Purpose:

Decision to extend s75 agreement for a year to the end of March 2018 and to enable the CCG to contract on behalf of the council for children’s services with Guy’s & St Thomas’ Trust

Decision:

Councils and Clinical Commissioning Groups are required under s75 of the NHS Act 2006 to have formal agreements in place that set out how they share resources and commission services. This report recommends that the s75 partnership agreement between the Council and the Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is extended to the end of March 2018 and that the agreement to enable the CCG to contract on behalf of the council with Guy’s & St Thomas’ Trust to provide children’s services is continued, and that adult social care transport services are added to the arrangement.  This formalises the agreement that has been in place.  The report also recommends that the s75 partnership agreement between the Council and the Lambeth CCG is further extended to the end of June 2018.
