Somerleyton Road is a mixed use regeneration project in Brixton. Part of the development is the Oval House theatre in Block B and the refurbishment of the existing Carlton Mansions, Block A.
1. To award Galliford Try the design and pre-construction contract using the Southern Construction Framework (SCF) Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA), for Somerleyton Road Phase 1 from September 2017 to June 2018 at a cost of £1,089,340.56 and to transfer the funds into the Capital Investment Programme to meet the costs of the PCSA.
2. To note, following recommendation 3 of the Cabinet report of July 2015, that a review of the viability of phase 1 of the Somerleyton Road project has been carried out, which demonstrated legal, commercial and financial viability such that this stage of the procurement process can be progressed.
