Purpose:

Award contracts to Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital Trust and King’s College Hospital Trust for the delivery of clinic-based sexual health services in Lambeth and Southwark using the London Integrated Sexual Health Tariff.

Decision:

Contract Award for GUM/RSH Sexual Health Services – King’s College Hospital

 

1.         To waive Council Standing Order 9 (Advertising, Prequalification and Framework Arrangements) for reasons of urgency and demonstrable best interest.

 

2.         To note the unauthorised spend from 1 April 2017 to 31 May 2017 for an amount of £578,538 related to delays in agreeing the terms of this contract with the provider and obtaining the necessary approvals for this award.

 

3.         To award a 1+3+6 month contract to King’s College Hospital NHS Trust to deliver open-access sexual health services in Lambeth and Southwark over the ten month period 1 June 2017 to 31 March 2018 for an amount of £2,892,689 for a maximum contract value of £3,471,227 (£867,807 per quarter).

 

 

Contract Award for GUM/RSH Sexual Health Services – Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Hospital Trust

 

1.         To waive Council Standing Order 9 (Advertising, Prequalification and Framework Arrangements) for reasons of urgency and demonstrable best interest.

 

2.         To note the unauthorised spend of £1,107,601 over the period 1 April 2017 to 31 May 2017 related to delays in agreeing the terms of this contract with the provider and obtaining the necessary approvals for this award.

 

3.         To award a 1+3+6 month contract to Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Hospital Trust to deliver open-access sexual health services in Lambeth and Southwark over the ten month period from 1 June 2017 to 31 March 2018 for an amount of £5,538,001 for a maximum contract value of £6,645,602 (£1,661,401 per quarter).
