Purpose:

The contract is necessary to ensure the continued supply of key sexual health services.

The provision of sexual health services is a duty of the local authority under the Health and Social Care Act 2012

Decision:

(1)          To issue a new contract for on-line sexual health testing in Lambeth and Southwark to SH24 for the period from 1st April 2017 up to 30th September 2017 for £660,259, of which Lambeth’s revenue contribution will be £330,130.

(2)          To vary and increase the current September 2016 – March 2017 contract with SH24 as the Supplier for on-line sexual health testing by up to £156,000 toinclude the GSTT diversion testing element.

(3)          To reduce the current GSTT contract for sexual health services valued at £8,136,265 running over the period 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017 by up to £156,000 to £7,984,400.
