Purpose:

Extend current contract beyond 30 September 2016 until 31 March 2020 for the SLaM led Integrated Treatment Consortium, which provides drug and alcohol treatment and recovery support across Lambeth:
- Locally co-produced consortium
- Collaborative working relationship
- Delivering outcomes, including over £1m in savings over 2 years
- Best interests of client group

Decision:

(1)          To take up the option of the 1 + 1 year extension until 30 September 2018 included in the original contract award

 

(2)          To extend the contract for the SLaM led Integrated Treatment Consortium for an additional 1.5 years until 31 March 2020 through a waiver to clause 9.2 (requirement for competition) of the Lambeth Contract Standing Orders.

 

(3)          To directly contract SLaM as the lead commissioning authority for the Integrated Treatment Consortium and that this service model is continued for a period of up to 3.5 years from 1 October 2016 to 31 March 2020 with a potential total value of £12.28m over 3.5 years.
