Purpose:
The South Area has a unique arrangement at present where Mears are delivering repairs and maintenance services for a set time only.
The previously agreed interim arrangement enabled Mears to deliver responsive repairs, voids, disrepair and planned and cyclical maintenance works in the South for 18months only. This extension will expire in January 2016. The listed decision will put in place a new contract for the provision of this service when the interim arrangement expires.
