Decision details

1.     To approve the allocation of £800,000 Section 106 monies towards the St John’s Church ReIGNITE project, subject to:

a.    A satisfactory independent audit of the business plan and fundraising strategy.

b.    The submission of a satisfactory Equalities Impact Assessment.

c.     A detailed Funding Agreement with claw back mechanisms in the event of underperformance.

2.    To delegate authority to the Co-Strategic Directors of Sustainable Growth and Opportunity, in consultation with the Deputy Leader of the Council (Planning, Investment and New Homes), to negotiate and complete a Funding Agreement with St John’s Church for payment of the Council’s contribution to the ReIGNITE project.
