Purpose:
Variation and extension to the existing contract with T&D Barrs to carry out further essential and urgent capital maintenance and safety works to avoid potential closure of schools.
Decision:
1. That the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People notes the variation and extension to the contract with T&D Barrs.
2. That the Director of Neighbourhoods and Growth authorises the release of the payment of the additional sum to enable the contractor’s final payments to be made in the sum of £1,047,011.17.
